A sketchbook of art work and accompanying writing samples, including black and white sketches, collage, mandala, etc

No, all projects can be completed within the allotted class time.

In this course, students learn and practice tools of reflective writing and creative expression in order to explore their search for God.

Each day, a different theme and art medium is introduced. Quiet time allows for individual, focused work for following intuitions, clearing obstacles, gaining insights, and making new discoveries.

 

The rhythm of the week includes a repeated structure to the days:

-opening meditation
-presentation of the day’s theme
-basic instruction of art medium
-“retreat” time for quiet, focused work
-closing integration, group facilitated by instructor

Day 2: The Obstacles to My Search for God
Day 3: On My Path
Day 4: Called to Life
Day 5: Others on My Path
