Carla Erickson Orlando


Carla Orlando, M.Ed, is an educator, spiritual director, retreat facilitator, and artist who teaches discernment, reflective writing, and tools for contemplative prayer.
Her professional associations include Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Ignatian Spirituality Center, SEEL Puget Sound, Jesuit Restorative Justice Initiative, Grunewald Guild for Art & Faith, and PRH International School of Adult Development

She facilitates The Art of Spiritual Direction and Contemplative Creativity series, and leads weekend retreats and week-long classes at the Grünewald Guild for art and spirituality.

Her ministries include the Ignatian Spirituality Center, the Episcopal Church of Western Washington, the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life retreat, the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd , and the Jesuit Restorative Justice Initiative.

Her somatic method, training, and supervision with PRH (Personnalite et Relations Humaines) International School of Adult Development is integral to her personal approach and guides her work with university students, faculty, organizational professionals, and people of faith.
