Get a feel for working with pigment and water. Destroy the myths about watercolor’s difficulty. Learn professional tips and techniques for smooth washes and fresh lyrical color.
The goal of this course is to equip students with an understanding of materials and skills, such as washes, masking, brushwork, composition, and color theory.
Day 1 Washes
Day 2 Preserving the whites, Composition discussed. Plan own project.
Day 3 Repairs and removal, color theory. Continue own projects.
Day 4 Coaching on fine points of individual projects.
Day 5 Finishing up individual projects.
