Ron Cole

Ron Cole is a digital artist, songwriter, and potter. Born in Pittsburgh and raised in Kentucky, Ron first came to the Guild as an intern for the 2013 Summer Program, then stayed on as an Artist in Residence, and later returned to work on staff for a few years. He currently resides in Plain, Wa where he, his wife, and toddler live in their tiny home.

Summer Week 6 | Introduction to Closed Containers and Lidded Vessels

From the flange of a lid to the shoulder of a jar, students will learn the parts of and how to create a variety of lid types and fit them to their adjoining vessels.

Join us to get your hands muddy at the Pottery Studio!  Open studio is great for makers that want to work with clay but don’t wish to buy and maintain pottery equipment. You can use this time to practice pottery technique or work on personal projects.
