Mary Ann Sinclair
Mary Ann Sinclair is a self-taught fiber artist based in Spokane, WA. She has experience working in a variety of wool and other protein fibers She raised her own Shetland sheep for 25 years for the use of their wool. She enjoys spinning, weaving, and felting. Her work is inspired from nature and her love of Celtic Spirituality.
When not working with fibers, she is an active participant in the Avenue West Gallery in downtown Spokane, WA. Mary Ann also serves as the head of our Art committee St. David’s Episcopal church where she collaborates with the congregation to create installations for the Church seasons.
She has been married to Ed Sinclair for 48 years. He is her hero for building a studio that enables her to expand her work. They have two living adult children, Rebecca and Marissa, who have both participated in a variety of her projects. The Fiber Arts studio at the Guild is her chapel away from home.
