
Kaia Gilije
Kaia Gilje became activated through art and community, finding collaboration as a place of practice. She has worked in dance and performance art and was shaped and influenced by the experimental performance art community in New York city. She has made a wide variety of performance work ranging from solo performances, long term duet collaborations, dancing in ensembles, participating in collectives, and creating operas. She has performed in DIY spaces, festivals, theaters, museums, bars, libraries, universities and on the street, engaging with performance as a process and a practice.
