
Elijah Turrell
Elijah Turrell is a Liturgical Artist from Seattle, WA. He hold an B.A. in Sociology from the University of Oklahoma and an M.A. in Traditional Arts from the University of Wales, School of Traditional Art. Originally from Oklahoma, he served three tours as a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy. It was while stationed at the military hospital in Spain that he began learning Iconography from Dr. Irina Bradley. After leaving the military he worked in the corporate world for a few years before pursuing a full-time career in art.. His work focuses on Orthodox Iconography, Manuscript Illumination, Calligraphy, and Sacred Geometry.
