Brian Johnson

Brian Johnson served as Executive Director of the

Grünewald Guild and taught an introductory course in

ekphrastic writing as well as book studies and artists’

talks. Brian has worked with Russian Iconography.

After Seminary while serving as a University

Chaplain, Brian completed an STM at Yale University

focusing on the Art of Sacra Conversazione: Viewing Art

in Dialogue with Writing. Recently, Brian’s Ekphrasitic

Poetry Collection “Said and Unsaid” was a long listed

finalist for Frontier Poetry’s International Competition.
