I am a “dreamer of threads.” I seem to always have colors, textures, ideas churning in my head and heart, and I even end up weaving some of them! I have been weaving for 25 years and began my journey with Liz Caemmerer at the Grunewald Guild where Liz mentored me in a deep love and joy of the whole weaving process. I worked with Liz and others to coordinate the open weaving studio for many years when I lived in the area. I love the whole process from start to finish and feel like I am always a beginner. I weave scarves, blankets, shawls, prayer rugs, towels, wall hangings. Most recently, I dreamed and designed paraments for our church to hang on the pulpit, lectern and communion table. I am a member of the Seattle Weaver’s Guild, the Whatcom Weaver’s Guild, the Jansen Art Center in Lynden, WA.
