Aj Williams

Aj Williams is a social and environmental documentarian based out of Missoula, MT and Chicago, IL.

Their work focuses on stories from our planet, its communities and what is changing collective understandings of them both for the better. She is a disabled kidney transplant recipient who lives with chronic illness, and is currently working on several projects at the nexus of disability, health and environment.

Currently, Aj is on annual contract to produce general news and documentary programs with Montana PBS and freelances as a photojournalist/documentary filmmaker. Their creative work of late has been a forthcoming collection of non-fiction prose essays mapped to the topography of her ribcage (currently untitled).
