Adele Caemmerer
After coming to the Guild as a staffer in 1987, Adele met and married Mike Caemmerer, the son of Guild founders Richard and Liz Caemmerer. Adele and Mike, along with their two daughters, lived and taught in Seattle and also in international schools in Taiwan and India, spending many summers in Plain with the Guild community. She is now living in Plain, pursuing her art, freelance teaching, leading retreats, and offering spiritual direction and Internal Family Systems coaching. She is active in the local arts scene through exhibitions and arts advocacy. Adele incorporates her passion for art and spiritual practice in her visual explorations of the rhythms of daily life.
