Writing Through the Labyrinth

This program begins Sunday August 7, and ends Saturday August 17.  The fees listed at right include lodging and all meals (except “Commuter”, which includes a Commuter Meal Plan).  An additional sliding scale Course Fee is required.  For more information on our pricing, see our Pricing page.

The spiral – a rich symbol, with connotations of rebirth, intuition, and change.

This class will focus on creative writing as a tool for self-exploration and growth, with special attention paid to the labyrinth and its spiraling imagery.   We will walk the lGuild’s abyrinth, explore ideas of place, personhood, memory, and community, and work to craft our writing so that we can take it towards a place of self-belonging. We will generate creative writing in different forms -both prose and poetry – as well as consider hybridity in writing.
