Summer Week 4 | Fun with Jewelry

This program is part of our Summer Program, beginning on Sunday (July 5) and ending on Saturday (July 11). Class runs Monday morning through Friday morning, with additional programming on Sunday and Saturday.
Do you have an old piece of jewelry that you’d like to rehab or repurpose? Would you like to learn the basics of jewelry-making? Join us for a fun week of jewelry-making at the Guild!
Although this class emphasizes earrings, interest in other types of jewelry is welcome.
What can I expect to create in class?
Participants can expect to make between 10-12x pairs of earrings by the end of the program.
What will class time be like?
This class will include demonstrations of a variety of jewelry-making techniques, including assembly, tool use, and beadwork. And lots of time to create!
Will I need to work outside of class?
It will not be necessary to work outside of class, though participants are welcome to do so.
Do I need experience to take this class?
Beginners welcome!
What do I need to bring to class?
No materials need to be brought to class. Students may choose to bring a personal sketchbook or journal along with any jewelry they would like to repair or re-purpose.
