This program is part of our Summer Program, beginning on Sunday (June 28) and ending on Friday (July 3).  Class runs Monday morning through Thursday morning, with additional programming on Sunday and Friday.

Join ecologist turned artist Nicki Lang on a journey of exploration of the Guild plant communities using art! We will focus our practice on very basic drawing, gelli printing, block printing, and nature printing with found objects. We will also learn about traditional uses and the ecology of the plants growing all around us.

The course objective is to explore the plant ecology of the Guild by using plants as subjects for art. We will learn about plant communities that exist on the property and nearby land. We will use actual plants for printing and use plant shapes for inspiration.
