This program is part of our Summer Program, beginning on Sunday (June 7) and ending on Saturday (June 13).  Class runs Monday morning through Friday morning, with additional programming on Sunday and Saturday.

Are you interested in learning the basics of stained glass?   Would you like to build a stained glass piece for your home, or to gift to a loved one?  Come and learn about stained glass and bring home a piece of your own!

Students will learn how to choose a pattern, select and cut glass, work with copper foil, and solder a stained glass piece.  At the end of the week, you’ll have your own “suncatcher” to take home!

What will class time be like?

Throughout the week, you’ll learn safe studio practices, material use and handling, design, and stained glass technique.   Class will include a mix of demonstration, instructions, and time to practice and create!

Will I need to work outside of class?

Additional time outside of class will be required if you are making a larger project.  Smaller projects can be completed within the class time.

Do I need experience to take this class?

No prior experience necessary – beginners means beginners!

What do I need to bring to class?

All essential materials are provided.  Bring close-toed shoes for studio safety, and tie long hair behind your shoulders.  You may bring a sketchbook for inspiration and planning.
