SSA Week 1 | Awaken Your Muse: Mixed Media Exploration

This week-long course is part of our annual Spring Sacred Arts (SSA) Program, beginning on Sunday, May 3rd and ending on Saturday, May 9th. Class takes place Monday morning through Friday morning, with additional programming on Sunday and Saturday.

Inside everyone is a Muse, a creative, sacred life force that inspires you, whispers in your ear, and asks unexpected, soul stirring questions, if you’re open to listening. Together, we’ll connect to your Muse as a creative partner and loving guide through a soul-stirring process of visioning and creating mixed media art using acrylics, watercolors, nature’s bounty, and all sorts of mark making and collage materials.

What will class time be like?

Through journaling, wonder walks in nature and creative play, you’ll listen inside to the divine voice inside of you that lights you up, reveals your deepest wisdom and sets you free to create as you are meant to create.

Will I need to work outside of class?

It is not necessary but if you are inspired to continue your process outside of class you are welcome to.

Do I need experience to take this class?

No experience needed! Whether you’re new to making art or a seasoned artist, this class will fuel you with inspiration to meet your Muse with delight and curiosity.

What do I need to bring to class?

Clothes you don’t mind getting messy.
