This course invites us to slow down and experience the power of art as a form of active meditation. Together we will explore how basic art materials and simple steps can create an interior spaciousness and ground us in the present moment.

Through guided practice and experimentation, students will develop a set of approaches for artmaking in a meditative way. Each day we will explore and practice meditative methods of art making using a variety of media.
