Is it mosaic? Or is it stained glass? Nope! It’s fabric collage. Come explore a fun and accessible process for bringing your designs to life. We’ll play with color, line and space, and lots of pins! Learn how to work with fusible web and foam core as design tools on your way to a beautiful piece of wall art. Students can choose to bring a sewing machine and complete one piece so it’s ready to hang. Or leave the sewing machine at home and start several designs to be completed later.

What will class time be like?
Students will learn the basics of the process with a provided pattern, and then go on to design their own.

Will I need to work outside of class?
Yes, participants wishing to create complex or ambitious projects should expect to spend additional time working outside of class.

What can I expect to create?
Students may choose to complete one project or start several for completion at home.

Do I need experience to take this class?
All experience levels welcome, including beginners

What do I need to bring to class?
Sewing Machine: If you want to complete a piece, you will need a machine for quilting and all the basic sewing supplies that go with it. Remember your cords, manual, foot pedal, both straight and free motion feet, needles, etc.). Remember threads for quilting and construction that coordinate with your fabric choices.  A more detailed supply list will be emailed to you upon registration regarding fabric recommendations.
