FSA Week 2 | Sacred Geometry
With Elijah Turrell
November 1 - 7, 2026
This week-long course is part of our annual Fall Sacred Arts (FSA) Program, beginning on Sunday, November 1st and ending on Saturday, November 7th. Class takes place Monday morning through Friday morning, with additional programming on Sunday and Saturday.
Using only a ruler and compass, students will learn to draw Gothic Rose Windows from France, tile floors from the Vatican and Westminster Abbey, manuscript illuminations from Syria and Egypt, and the paradoxical labyrinth. These designs were part of daily life in the medieval world but hold deep, universal truths. As we draw, we will discover how these motifs aid in our prayer and meditation.
