Be-Jeweled: Fun with Jewelry (Session 1)
With Tamzin Darden and Shan Wang
August 19, 2023
Come join us for an evening jewelry-making workshop where you will assemble earrings and make beads with found objects!
This class session will include a demonstration of how to assemble jewelry with metal findings, jewelry-making tools, and various types of beads.
Students will also have the opportunity to learn:
- How to make their own unique beads with fabric and paper
- How to repair broken jewelry
- How to up-cycle broken, thrifted, or second-hand jewelry and beads into new designs
This is one of four jewelry-making workshops offered by Tamzin Darden. If you would like to register for other sessions, please see the program pages for Session 2, Session 3, and Session 4. You do not need to participate in multiple sessions – each is a self-contained workshop.
